The Rates for the Camel Safaris include:
Local guides (Maasai and Meru), riding camels. Accommodation in camping tents, toilet and hot shower facilities, village development fee, taxes. Drinking water, tea and coffee.
The Rates for the Camel Safari do not include:
International flight, Transfer to camel safari starting point and from camel safari's ending point. Insurance (Medical and evacuation insurance are required). Soft drinks and beer Gratuities to staff.

Mkuru Camel Safari is a community-based cultural and environmental tourism programme, supported by the NGO Oikos East Africa and directly managed by local people. We take clients to visit local communities in remote rural areas and through our local tour leaders we are able to interact in a sensitive way so that both visitors and hosts gain from the experience.
Holiday Supplements:
There are no Holiday Supplements.
Child policy for the Camp and Camel Safaris:
During Camel safaris, for 6-12 years old children sharing with adults pay 50% of the above rate sheets.
Children not sharing with parents will be charged at the full rate for the first child and 50% for each subsequent child. Because of the proximity of wild animals, children under 12 years of age are not encouraged.
Cancellations and 'no show':
Reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers (hereinafter collectively called a CANCELLATION) are subject to cancellation and 'no show' fees at the discretion of the company under the following terms:
60-31 days prior to departure 0% cancellation fee will be charged;
30-7 days prior to departure 50% cancellation fee will be charged;
7 days or less, charges will be 100% for cancellation received within the 7 days of arrival.
In all cases, notification of Cancellation is only accepted when received and approved by the local reservation office. |
